Wisconsin State Fair enters final week of 175th anniversary celebrations
The Wisconsin State Fair, currently celebrating its 175th anniversary at State Fair Park in West Allis, is entering its final week of programming. Upcoming highlights include Senior Day on Monday, featuring discounted admission for those 60 and older, and sensory-friendly hours for the SpinCity ride area. Tuesday features Milwaukee Bucks Kids Day and a State Fair parade, alongside “Crazy Grazin’ Day,” which offers reduced-price food portions at over 30 locations.
Beyond entertainment, the fair serves as an educational platform to connect consumers with the agricultural industry. Exhibits such as Dairy Lane provide interactive demonstrations, including daily milking sessions for cows and goats, to showcase the background of food production. The event also features various musical performances, including sets by The Isley Brothers, for KING + COUNTRY, and Herman’s Hermits.
