Wisconsin State Fair enters final weekend of 175th anniversary

The 175th anniversary of the Wisconsin State Fair enters its final weekend at State Fair Park in West Allis, featuring a variety of themed celebrations and traditional activities.

Friday is designated as Piggly Wiggly Day, which includes a Kemps Ice Cream Eating Contest and a Frito-Lay sampling event. Musical performances scheduled for the day include Lindsey Stirling with PVRIS and The Gufs. Saturday features the Cream Puff Lovin’ Celebration, hosted by UW Credit Union, which includes a cream puff eating contest and family activities.

Continuing a long-standing tradition, the fair’s Milk House offers flavored milk, such as s’mores and root beer, for $1 per cup. The Milk House, which first appeared at the fair in 1939, serves as a fundraiser for the Wisconsin State Fair Foundation.
