Wisconsin women's soccer defeats UIC 5-1

In women's college soccer, the No. 22 Wisconsin Badgers defeated UIC with a score of 5-1. Jane Rogers opened the scoring in the fifth minute, followed by an equalizer from UIC's Grace Lisota in the 41st minute. Wisconsin responded quickly through Abby Ballek, and Jenna Baumann secured the victory with two goals in the second half.

Meanwhile, Marquette women's soccer played to a 0-0 draw against Northern Illinois. Despite outshooting the Huskies 19-10, the Golden Eagles were unable to convert their opportunities. Marquette remains undefeated through the month of August with a record of 3-0-3.
