WiseMo updates remote control software for Windows and macOS

Danish software developer WiseMo has released updates for its cross-platform remote maintenance and remote control solutions.

The Windows Guest (Build 26-274) introduces a new recording menu available in both the remote control toolbar and full-screen tool. Users can now start, pause, and resume MP4 recordings during an active connection without disconnecting. Recording actions are configurable per user, and the system now supports inventory recognition for macOS 27 Golden Gate and Android 17. Additionally, the update improves UI behavior regarding authentication, such as handling invalid myCloud credentials and two-factor authentication prompts.

The Windows Host has also been updated to Build 26-274, focusing on performance optimizations. These include improved screen transmission performance when using progressive screen transmission and the automatic disabling of Windows transparency effects to enhance speed. The update also includes a fallback method for remote control of workstations without an active monitor.
