Wittmann Group and Wacker Chemie announce new industrial technologies

At the upcoming Fakuma 2026 trade fair, the Wittmann Group and Wacker Chemie will showcase new technological advancements for the plastics and injection molding industries.

The Wittmann Group is introducing Aim4Help, an interactive AI assistant designed to provide technical support for injection molding machines, robots, and peripheral equipment. Accessible via QR code, the chatbot supports both written and oral queries in multiple languages, utilizing a comprehensive knowledge base of technical documents and error analyses to assist with process parameters and robot programming.

Wacker Chemie will present Elastosil LR 3822, a new liquid silicone rubber (LSR) specifically developed for the electromobility sector. This material is designed for use in connector seals and cooling system components within battery assemblies. The silicone features oil-bleeding properties that facilitate easier machine assembly, high tear resistance, and flexibility in temperatures as low as -45 °C. Testing indicates the material maintains its mechanical properties even after prolonged exposure to high-temperature glycol-water mixtures.
