Wiz expands Google Cloud security with Google Workspace support

Wiz has launched support for Google Workspace identity modeling as part of its Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) capabilities. This update is designed to help Google Cloud customers secure cloud identities by providing visibility into entitlements and identifying misconfigurations within both Google Cloud and Google Workspace to prevent potential attack paths.

Separately, the rise of artificial intelligence is driving a shift in Security Operations Centers (SOC) toward context-driven defense. Experts note that the proliferation of security tools and the increased sophistication of AI-driven attacks have led to significant workload increases for security teams. To combat tool fatigue and fragmented data, there is a growing emphasis on integrating existing technologies so they can share a common context layer.
