Hatsune Miku Commander Deck Launches in Magic: The Gathering

Wizards of the Coast announced the Secret Lair Commander Deck: Hatsune Miku, a 100‑card green‑white Commander set for Magic: The Gathering. Designed by Magic developer Carmen Klomparens, the deck centers on Trostani, Selesnya’s Voice re‑imagined as “Miku, Song of the People.” It emphasizes life‑gain, token creation and includes staples such as Archangel of Thune, Aetherflux Reservoir, Rhys the Redeemed, Voice of the Blessed, Crested Sunmare and Mirari’s Wake.

The product features 13 brand‑new illustrations by Japanese artists, including original Hatsune Miku designer KEI, and foil borderless basic lands. It will be sold through a 24‑hour ordering window from 10 August 09:00 PT to 11 August 08:59 PT for $149.99. A prior accidental sale of the deck fetched over $10,000 on eBay, highlighting collector demand. The release is part of the Universes Beyond line and marks the first full Commander deck offered via Secret Lair.
