Wizards of the Coast releases new D&D Underdark playtest material

Wizards of the Coast has released a second round of Underdark-themed playtest material for Dungeons & Dragons. The new Unearthed Arcana: Underdark Options 2 PDF introduces three new subclasses and five new species designed for the subterranean setting.

The new subclasses include the Freedom Domain Cleric, which focuses on movement and breaking conditions; an updated Circle of Spores Druid with enhanced myconid connections; and the Faerzress Sorcerer, which utilizes the magical radiation of the Underdark. Additionally, five new species options allow players to portray characters native to the Underdark, such as the Deep Imaskari.

A survey for these playtest options opens on D&D Beyond starting September 17.
