Wizards of the Coast to release D&D Star Wars books in 2027

Wizards of the Coast has announced that two Dungeons & Dragons books set in the Star Wars universe are scheduled for release in 2027. The project, titled ‘Star Wars: Season of Rebellion’, will include the ‘D&D | Star Wars Core Rules’ volume and an adventure book titled ‘Tyro Squadron: Adventures’.

‘Tyro Squadron: Adventures’ is expected to follow a secret Rebel Alliance team during the events of the original film trilogy. The upcoming ruleset will likely incorporate elements such as Jedi, droids, the Force, and space combat. This collaboration marks the second entry in the ‘Universes Beyond’ line for D&D, following the ‘World of Warcraft’ adaptation planned for late 2026.

Further details regarding pricing, specific release dates, and gameplay mechanics are expected to be revealed during the Star Wars Celebration in April 2027.
