Wizkid announced as first headliner for Detty December Fest 2026

Afrobeats artist Wizkid has been announced as the first headliner for the 2026 Detty December Fest in Lagos. He is scheduled to perform on the opening night, December 18, marking a significant homecoming performance following his 2025 touring cycle for the album ‘Morayo’.

Organized by Livespot360, the two-week festival will run from December 18 through December 30. This edition introduces a structural change with the addition of the ‘Pulse Stage’, a second performance platform specifically designed to showcase emerging African artists alongside established headliners.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale, and organizers expect to announce additional performers in the coming weeks.
