Wizz Air launches new Comiso to Milan Malpensa route

Wizz Air has commenced its first direct flight service between Comiso and Milan Malpensa. The new route operates three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, aiming to connect southeastern Sicily with northern Italy's economic center.

Officials from Sicilian Airports Company (SAC) stated that the connection is part of a strategy to integrate the Comiso and Catania airports to support tourism and local business. The Mayor of Comiso noted that the route, supported by funds from the Free Consortium of the Municipalities of Ragusa, serves to strengthen the region's strategic infrastructure and accessibility.
