Wizz Air partners with Amadeus to expand flight distribution

Wizz Air has announced a new partnership with travel technology company Amadeus to make its flights available through the Amadeus Travel Platform. This agreement marks the first time the Hungary-based low-cost carrier will offer its inventory through the platform, targeting travel agents, travel management companies, online travel agencies, and tour operators.

Under the agreement, Wizz Air will utilize Amadeus Ticketless Access (ATLA) to distribute its flights. This allows travel sellers to search, compare, and book Wizz Air fares, fare bundles, and ancillary services using their existing booking tools. The move is part of a broader corporate strategy by Wizz Air to increase sales through indirect distribution channels and diversify its reach beyond direct web sales.
