Wizz Air reinstates Middle East routes for 2026/27 winter season
Wizz Air is expanding its flight network for the 2026/27 winter season, notably reinstating 12 routes to the Middle East. Following safety reviews by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and internal risk assessments, the airline is resuming services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, and Amman.
The Middle Eastern expansion includes 49 weekly frequencies across nine European markets, offering approximately 470,000 seats with prices starting from €24.99. In Italy, direct connections from Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino to Jeddah have already resumed. From October 25, the restoration of services will extend to hubs in Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia, Larnaca, and various Polish and Romanian airports.
Additionally, the airline is promoting autumn travel through flash sales, offering discounts of up to 15% for flights scheduled between October 1, 2026, and January 3, 2027. Suggested itineraries include trips from Bologna to Tirana, Albania, and from Milan to Porto, Portugal.
