Wizz Air resumes Middle East routes from Budapest

Wizz Air is resuming its Middle East operations from Budapest, including flights to Amman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Jeddah. The airline is gradually reinstating these routes following a review of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) conflict zone recommendations and the company’s own internal safety assessments.

During the winter season, the airline plans to restore 12 routes with 49 weekly flights to Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. The expansion aims to provide connectivity from nine European cities to these destinations, offering a total of 470,000 seats for the winter period.
