Security incidents reported in Albania, Tunisia, and aviation disputes in Serbia

Multiple security incidents involving false bomb threats and aviation disruptions have occurred across different regions. In Tirana, Albania, authorities arrested Edmond Jatagani after he allegedly made a false bomb threat at the ‘Emin Duraku’ school, causing panic on the first day of the school year. Officials described the act as ‘criminal madness.’

In Tunisia, an Air Serbia flight experienced significant delays after a Serbian citizen, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, claimed to be a terrorist with a bomb during boarding at Monastir Airport. The incident forced the evacuation of passengers and a full security sweep of the aircraft, resulting in a four-hour delay.

Additionally, a Turkish Airlines flight traveling from Istanbul to Tunisia encountered severe turbulence during its descent into Tunis-Carthage. Passengers reported terrifying conditions as the plane appeared to dive through stormy weather, eventually forcing the pilot to divert the flight to Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport.

In a separate business matter, Wizz Air has called on Serbian authorities to resolve regulatory disputes that threaten its Belgrade base, citing potential impacts on jobs, competition, and regional connectivity.
