Włókniarz Częstochowa relegated from PGE Ekstraliga

Włókniarz Częstochowa has been relegated from the PGE Ekstraliga following a historically poor season. The team finished with a record of 1 win, 0 draws, and 17 losses, securing their first victory only in their final away match against Gorzów.

Despite a narrow 45:44 loss in their final outing, the club has officially announced that it will extend its cooperation with Danish coach Patrick Hansen. Hansen, who joined the team late in the regular season to replace Mariusz Staszewski, remains highly regarded by the organization despite the team's struggles.

The season was marked by significant underperformance from key riders. Australian Jaimon Lidsey, expected to be a leader, struggled with a home average of just over 1.4 and a high loss ratio. Similarly, Rohan Tungate faced a difficult year, including a crash during the final match that resulted in his exclusion.
