Wladimir Klitschko seeks guardianship of Hayden Panettiere’s estate

Former heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko has filed a petition in Los Angeles County probate court seeking temporary guardianship of the estate of his late daughter, Kaya. The request follows the sudden death of actress Hayden Panettiere on August 16 at age 36. Because Kaya, aged 11, is the sole heir to her mother’s estate, Klitschko is seeking legal authority to protect her financial interests during the probate process.

The legal filing describes the appointment as ‘urgent and essential,’ alleging that assets may be at risk of being lost, damaged, or dissipated before a permanent representative is installed. Reports indicate that a diamond engagement ring valued at approximately $500,000 has already disappeared. There are allegations that valuables may have been taken by individuals close to Panettiere during her final days.
