WNBA expands media reach and concludes player seasons

The WNBA is experiencing significant growth in media value and international reach. In Spain, RTVE has acquired broadcasting rights for a selection of the postseason, including six first-round games, the semifinals, and the Finals. This expansion follows a massive increase in the league's domestic media rights in the United States, which have risen from approximately $60 million to around $200 million annually under new agreements with Disney, NBCUniversal, and Amazon Prime Video.

On the court, Spanish player Alicia Flórez has concluded her debut WNBA season with the Washington Mystics. Following a series loss to the Atlanta Dream, the Mystics were eliminated from the playoffs. Flórez, who averaged 3.5 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, will return to play for Valencia Basket in the Liga Femenina.
