Los Angeles Sparks defeat Washington Mystics 88-82

The Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Washington Mystics 88-82 on Friday night at Crypto.com Arena. Despite Washington holding a 51-40 halftime lead, Los Angeles mounted a comeback fueled by a late fourth-quarter run.

Nneka Ogwumike led the Sparks with 24 points, while Rae Burrell contributed 15 points, scoring 12 of them in the final period to help secure the victory. Cameron Brink added 13 points off the bench. For the Mystics, Sonia Citron scored 22 points, and both Shakira Austin and Kiki Iriafen recorded double-doubles.

The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for Washington, who move to a 24-16 record. The Sparks, currently at 14-25, will next face the Seattle Storm.
