WNBA MVP awards and Caitlin Clark playoff highlights

A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces has won her record fifth WNBA MVP award, leading the league in both scoring and blocks. The 2026 MVP voting also saw Indiana Fever players Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark finish in the top five, with Mitchell placing third and Clark placing fourth.

Separately, Candace Parker addressed a viral moment from the WNBA playoffs involving Caitlin Clark. During a high-stakes game where the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Indiana Fever 2-1 in the first round, Clark shouted an emotional exclamation toward Parker at the scores table following a successful three-point shot. Parker later discussed the incident on the ‘Post Moves’ podcast, noting that she viewed the outburst as a sign of competitive passion and that the exchange was resolved amicably between the players.
