DiJonai Carrington alleges NaLyssa Smith cheated with multiple WNBA players

Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington posted a viral Threads message on July 26, accusing her former partner and Las Vegas Aces forward NaLyssa Smith of cheating with several league players. Carrington specifically named Deja Kelly of the Aces and Aaliyah Nye of the Atlanta Dream, writing, “yes, Nalyssa cheated on me with Deja Kelly and Aaliyah Nye +++ many more.”

The two athletes began dating while at Baylor University in 2020, continued after entering the WNBA, and were briefly teammates on the Dallas Wings in 2025 before Smith was traded to the Aces. Their breakup was announced in November 2025 as amicable. Neither Smith, Kelly nor Nye responded publicly to the allegations. Carrington's claim sparked widespread discussion among fans and media, and upcoming games—including a Chicago‑Las Vegas matchup on August 1 and a Dream‑Sky game on September 19—have heightened interest in the personal rivalry on the court.
