Wody Polskie reports on flood protection investments

During a recent county council session, representatives from Wody Polskie presented updates regarding flood protection and water management infrastructure. In 2025, approximately 1.77 million PLN was allocated for 19 maintenance tasks, including the upkeep of flood embankments and hydrotechnical objects such as the water levels in Koźle and Januszkowice.

Efforts have also focused on remediating the effects of the 2024 floods, with six specific tasks exceeding 2.5 million PLN. Looking forward, funding has been secured for the construction of embankments in the Bierawa and Lasaki–Poborszów sections. Additionally, documentation is being prepared for future embankment stages and a pumping station on the Cisek stream in the Łan area.
