Wolfberger launches lemon‑infused spritz and fruit‑flavored beers in Alsace

Alsace‑based beverage house Wolfberger unveiled three new summer drinks. The NÉO Spritz Limoncello combines lemon‑infused quinquina spirit with Crémant d’Alsace Brut, yielding a 15 %‑alcohol spritz. Two Amer Fleur de Bière variants were also released: a lemon‑flavored bitter and an “Exotic” version featuring mango, passion fruit and pineapple.

Separately, French health experts caution that lemon‑water does not improve hydration beyond plain water, though it can make drinking more pleasant. Dietitian Florence Foucaut and Dr Faïza Bossy note that during heat waves people should aim for 1.5–2 L of fluid daily, with lemon slices serving only as flavoring.
