Wolfenbüttel opens new bicycle path section

A new bicycle path has been opened in the Wolfenbüttel district, marking the completion of the second of four planned sections for the eastern bypass between Klein Denkte and Salzdahlum. The approximately one-kilometer connection runs from a roundabout on the 627 to the Atzum district.

The new two-way path is 2.5 meters wide and was constructed over a two-month period. Local officials stated that the project is a key component of the regional bicycle mobility concept, aimed at closing gaps in the network to provide safer and more attractive connections for daily commuters.
