Wolfenbüttel opens new bicycle path section
A new bicycle path has been officially opened in the Wolfenbüttel district, connecting the K 627 roundabout to the Atzum district. The approximately one-kilometer-long path represents the second of four planned sections for the eastern bypass between Klein Denkte and Salzdahlum.
Constructed over a two-month period, the 2.5-meter-wide two-way path is part of a broader bicycle mobility concept aimed at closing gaps in the regional cycling network. Local officials stated the project is designed to strengthen cycling as a safe and attractive form of daily transport by providing clear connections with minimal obstacles.
