Wolfenbütteler Schwimmverein hosts Oktoberfest celebration

The Wolfenbütteler Schwimmverein von 1921 e. V. (WSV 21) hosted an Oktoberfest celebration at the Fümmelsee-Terrassen on October 10, 2026. Approximately 40 guests attended the event, which featured Bavarian specialties, fresh beer, and traditional music provided by DJ Johann Hoffmann.

The gathering focused on community building outside of regular sporting activities. Attendees participated in traditional Oktoberfest games, including Maßkrugstemmen (stein holding) and nail-in-the-log competitions, to strengthen club cohesion.
