Wolfgang Bosbach speaks at CDU Gummersbach autumn reception

The CDU Gummersbach city association held its traditional autumn reception in a new, open format, inviting approximately 100 guests from the local business community, clubs, and civil society. Previously an internal party event, the change was intended by association chairman Volker Kranenberg to modernize communication and recognize local civic engagement.

Former Bundestag member Wolfgang Bosbach served as the guest of honor, delivering a 45-minute speech. His presentation covered a wide range of current political topics, including the potential reintroduction of compulsory military service, federal pension and social reforms, and the strained situation of municipal budgets.
