Wolfgang Kubicki and Ricarda Lang pledge to increase Berlin greenery

FDP leader Wolfgang Kubicki and former Green Party leader Ricarda Lang have expressed a shared commitment to increasing urban greenery in Berlin. During an appearance on the ntv program ‘Blome & Pfeffer’, Lang invited Kubicki to plant trees together at the Gendarmenmarkt to promote climate adaptation.

Kubicki accepted the invitation, stating that no liberal politician opposes the planting of trees in cities. He noted that urban areas have suffered from excessive paving and a lack of new plantings. Both politicians agreed that climate protection and climate adaptation must work in tandem rather than being treated as opposing interests.
