Wolfsburg completes Sauerbruchstraße renovation

The fundamental renovation of Sauerbruchstraße, a key access road to the Wolfsburg Clinic, has been completed. The project involved the renewal of approximately 3,500 square meters of roadway and a complete reorganization of the street space.

In addition to the driving surface, the upgrades include new lighting, green spaces, new tree locations, parking areas, and updated rainwater and sewage systems. The total construction costs amounted to approximately 2.25 million euros. Mayor Dennis Weilmann described the project as a holistic approach to improving infrastructure for all users, including patients and visitors.
