Wolfsburg local elections: 19-year-old SPD candidate seeks council seats

Jamie Lee Ann Haffke, a 19-year-old candidate for the SPD, is participating in the upcoming local elections in Wolfsburg on September 13. Haffke is the youngest candidate running for both the city council and the local council in Vorsfelde.

She advocates for increased political engagement among young people to drive change. In addition to her political candidacy, Haffke works as a waitress and volunteers with the fire department, where she focuses on youth work. Following her graduation, she plans to begin a voluntary social year in youth development in Wolfsburg before pursuing studies in social work or social pedagogy.
