Wolfsburg to conduct mobile speed enforcement
The city of Wolfsburg has announced mobile speed enforcement operations scheduled for the week of October 19 to 24. These checks will take place at several locations within the city and its districts, including Zum Badekoth in Brackstedt, Berliner Ring in the city center, and Braunschweiger Straße in the Stadtmitte/Waldstadt area.
While specific locations are provided, the city noted that it does not disclose all enforcement sites, and police may conduct additional regular radar checks. The initiative follows a period of high revenue for the city's regulatory office, which collected approximately 5.74 million euros in fines in 2025, up from nearly 5.7 million euros the previous year. Primary sources of these funds include speed violations, red-light infractions, and parking offenses.
