Wolves defeat Watford at Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a victory against Watford at Molineux. Adam Armstrong opened the scoring in the 35th minute with a right-footed shot following sustained pressure from the home side.

Despite Watford attempting to create opportunities in the second half, including a long-range effort from Kayembe, Wolverhampton maintained control of the match. The result follows a period of inconsistent form for Wolves, who recently drew 1-1 with Portsmouth, and a recent win for Watford against Charlton Athletic.
