Wolves eye Scottish midfielder Jordan Holsgrove in summer transfer
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reported to be interested in signing 26‑year‑old Scottish midfielder Jordan Holsgrove from Portuguese club Estoril Praia. Estoril have set a asking price of €3.5 million and Holsgrove remains under contract until June 2028. German Bundesliga clubs Werder Bremen, Hamburger SV and Augsburg are also said to be in talks about the player.
Holsgrove, a former Scotland Under‑21 international, began his career at Reading and has previously played for Celta Vigo, Paços de Ferreira, Olympiacos and Estoril. After Wolves were relegated from the Premier League, the club is looking to strengthen its midfield for the Championship campaign. The squad has also seen the return of loanees Tommy Doyle and Marshall Munetsi as it prepares for the new season.
