Wolves in the Throne Room releases new album Estuary

Atmospheric black metal band Wolves in the Throne Room has released their new six-track album, Estuary, via Relapse Records in North America and Century Media in other markets. Released on October 23, 2026, the album follows a post-apocalyptic concept set one thousand years in the future, where survivors navigate a transformed landscape of ruins and new spiritualities.

The album features long-form compositions, with most tracks exceeding seven minutes, including titles such as ‘Knights of Tiamat’, ‘Foretold in Reflections’, ‘The Orca Cliffs’, ‘Ghosts Among the Obelisks’, and ‘Wretched Spirits, Land of the Light’. The musical direction emphasizes texture, intensity, and a naturalistic sound achieved through 24-bit/96 kHz mastering.

The band members contributing to the project include Nathan Weaver on guitar and vocals, Aaron Weaver on drums and synths, Kody Keyworth on guitar and vocals, and Galen Baudhuin on bass and vocals.
