Wolves reject Fiorentina and Trabzonspor bids for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare

Wolverhampton Wanderers have turned down transfer approaches for Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare from both Serie A side Fiorentina and Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor. The club, which values the 25‑year‑old at more than €20 million, says it will not sell unless that price is met. Arokodare, who joined Wolves from Belgian side KRC Genk last summer for a £23.4 million fee, struggled in his first season in England, recording three goals and one assist in 33 Premier League appearances as Wolves were relegated.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Fiorentina’s proposal was rejected and that Trabzonspor had also submitted a bid, but the player is not keen on moving to Turkey. Turkish media reported that Trabzonspor had made an official loan offer and that the club sees the striker as a potential replacement for Paul Onuachu. Despite the interest, Wolves remain determined to keep Arokodare as they aim for an immediate return to the Premier League, while monitoring other suitors.
