WOMADelaide announces 35th anniversary lineup for 2027

The WOMADelaide music and arts festival will celebrate its 35th anniversary from March 5 to 8, 2027, at Adelaide’s Botanic Park. The festival has announced its first three international performers: American soul singer Leon Bridges, British ska-pop band Madness, and Malian group Tinariwen.

Leon Bridges is expected to perform material from his forthcoming fifth studio album, Happiness Anytime, accompanied by a horn section and backing vocalists. Madness brings a career spanning four decades, while Tinariwen returns to the festival to perform Saharan blues.

Organizers have introduced flexible ticketing options for the milestone event, including four-day passes, single-day tickets, and payment plans. The festival will feature eight stages hosting music, dance, theatre, and workshops from over 30 countries. Discounts are available for under-18s, children aged 12 and under, and large groups, while the Community Access Program will continue to provide tickets to those in need.
