Woman and Child and Rue Málaga DVD/Blu‑ray Releases

Iranian director Saeed Roustaee’s drama Woman and Child, starring Parinaz Izadyar, is being issued on DVD and Blu‑ray by Diaphana in France after its theatrical run earlier this year. The film follows Mahnaz, a single mother seeking justice after a tragic accident, and marks Roustaee’s return following legal troubles over his previous work.

Moroccan‑Spanish filmmaker Maryam Touzani’s feature Rue Málaga, starring Carmen Maura, will also be released on DVD and Blu‑ray in France on 7 July 2026 via Ad Vitam. The story centres on 79‑year‑old Maria Angeles in Tangier, whose life changes when her daughter returns to sell the family home, prompting a rediscovery of love and desire. Touzani, known for her award‑winning films addressing social issues in Morocco, makes her first Spanish‑language film with this release.

Both releases expand the availability of internationally acclaimed cinema to French home‑video markets.
