Woman and child left on street in Arnavutköy after domestic dispute

In the Haraççı neighborhood of Arnavutköy, Ebrar Ayşesun Güneş and her 4-year-old son were left on the street after her husband, Faruk G., allegedly evicted them. The conflict reportedly began because Güneş spent significant time visiting her mother, who had been in intensive care for two months.

Following a dispute, Faruk G. reportedly left the home and subsequently canceled the rental agreement with the landlord. He then allegedly placed the family's belongings on the street, leaving Güneş and her son without shelter.

In response to the situation, the Arnavutköy Municipality and the Ministry of Family and Social Services intervened. The municipality is providing assistance with moving expenses for Güneş's relocation to Diyarbakır, while the ministry has arranged emergency hotel accommodation and initiated cash assistance for the family's immediate needs.
