Woman arrested in João Pessoa for impersonating doctor

A woman named Isabela de Melo Dantas was arrested in João Pessoa on Thursday after being suspected of impersonating a medical specialist in gluteal harmonization. Operating from a clinic on Avenida Epitácio Pessoa, she marketed herself on social media as a “reference in gluteal harmonization” and a specialist in facial and body procedures.

Investigations and victim reports indicate that Dantas allegedly used air, saline solution, and even construction-grade silicone during procedures, despite claiming to use specific acids and biostimulators. One victim, who had construction silicone injected into her buttocks, required emergency surgery due to health complications. Other patients reported pain and swelling after receiving air or saline instead of the promised medical treatments.
