Woman detained for killing partner in Esquel, Chubut

A woman was arrested in Esquel, Chubut, after being identified as the primary suspect in the stabbing death of her partner, Nelson Walter Ayilef Millapán. The victim was found early Friday around 03:54 a.m. with a fatal wound to the neck and was pronounced dead shortly after emergency personnel arrived.

The provincial public prosecutor ordered the woman's detention, a search of the premises, and seizure of relevant evidence. The case has been provisionally classified as aggravated homicide due to the intimate relationship between the victims. Authorities disclosed that the suspect has a criminal record, including a recent allegation of a knife‑related assault and interference in another homicide investigation. She is scheduled to appear before a control hearing on Saturday, where formal charges and precautionary measures will be determined.
