Woman dies after falling from luxury tower block in South London

A woman in her 20s has died after falling from a luxury high-rise building in the Elephant and Castle area of Southwark, South London. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police, were called to Churchyard Row around 09:35 on Thursday following reports of a person falling.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. While police have described the death as ‘unexpected’, they are not currently treating the incident as suspicious. Forensics officers were deployed to the site, and a post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted.

The incident has caused significant distress among residents and staff at the UNCLE building, where the fall occurred. This is the second major tragedy at the site in recent months; in May, a mother, father, and their nine-year-old son also fell to their deaths from the 36th floor of the building. While authorities have not officially confirmed if this latest incident occurred at the exact same structure, reports indicate the location is the same luxury tower block.
