Woman Injured in Attempted Motorcycle Theft on San José del Guaviare Road

A woman riding a motorcycle was attacked on the national road linking San José del Guaviare and El Retorno in Colombia. Two men on another motorcycle tried to snatch her bag, causing her to lose control and fall, sustaining injuries that required treatment at Hospital San José del Guaviare.

Her husband reported difficulties filing the complaint, noting that authorities redirected him multiple times and that the stretch of road lacks public lighting at night. He urged officials to improve security and lighting along the corridor to protect daily travelers.
