Woman injured in Gavrio, Greece after ship rope shatters car window

A 44‑year‑old woman was injured at the harbor of Gavrio on the island of Andros when a ship's mooring rope, known locally as an “orimidio” or “bilaï”, struck the window of her car during the boarding process. The impact shattered the glass, and shards wounded her feet. Immediate first aid was provided by a private ambulance crew and members of the ship’s crew.
