Woman re-arrested in Nuevo León for 2006 homicide

Authorities in Nuevo León, Mexico, have re-arrested a woman identified as Alejandra “N” in connection with a 2006 homicide in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The arrest was carried out in Monterrey following a coordinated operation between the Jalisco State Prosecutor's Office and local authorities in Nuevo León.

The case dates back to 2006, when a man was shot and killed while inside a vehicle in the Niños Héroes neighborhood. Investigations determined that Alejandra “N” was driving the vehicle used by the assailant during the attack. Although she was previously sentenced for her involvement, she was later granted early release.

Her freedom was revoked after she failed to comply with the judicial conditions set by the court. She is now back in custody to face the legal consequences of her breach of parole.
