Woman rescued from rocks near San Terenzo in La Spezia

A woman from Pontremoli was rescued after being trapped on a rock near San Terenzo, in the province of La Spezia, for several hours. The search was initiated after her husband reported her missing and personal belongings were discovered near the San Terenzo coast.

Emergency responders, including the La Spezia Coast Guard, Carabinieri, and Fire Department divers, coordinated the rescue. Due to the difficult coastal terrain and shallow waters, the operation utilized a helicopter and a patrol boat. The woman was found in a state of confusion and suffering from hypothermia. She was subsequently transported to Sant'Andrea Hospital for medical treatment.
