Woman seriously injured in Woodstock motorcycle crash

A woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Woodstock on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of Charles Road and Raffel Road in unincorporated Woodstock.

A McHenry County sheriff’s deputy discovered the crash while on an escort. Emergency responders from the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District arrived to find an adult female passenger who had been ejected from the motorcycle. Due to the potential severity of her injuries, a LifeNet medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene. The helicopter landed at Woodstock North High School to transport the victim to a trauma center.
