Two women facing breast cancer battles are making headlines for their personal struggles and resilience.

In Devon, England, 49-year-old Amanda Barnes, who is living with terminal breast cancer, held a wedding celebration on August 16. In Manaus, Brazil, 34-year-old Kewllen Rayanne Bastos is seeking financial assistance to undergo a necessary mastectomy. After completing chemotherapy at the Centro de Controle de Oncologia do Amazonas, Bastos's family launched a fundraising campaign to raise R$ 47,000 for private medical costs. The family turned to private care due to delays in the public health system (SUS) as the tumor began to grow and cause pain again.
