Women Leaders Push Sustainability Agenda in Brazil and Colombia

The fourth edition of the "Planeta Mulheres Sustentáveis" forum in São Paulo gathered business executives, rural producers, public officials and ESG groups to discuss integrating sustainability with innovation in strategic economic sectors. Speakers highlighted climate‑focused governance, regenerative economics, bio‑economy and the use of AI in agriculture. Participants stressed the importance of protecting Colombia’s páramos—critical high‑mountain ecosystems—and condemned policies that would favor unchecked deforestation, fracking and multinational exploitation. The gathering underlined the collective power of women to defend land, food sovereignty and biodiversity for future generations.
