Women's college soccer teams secure draws in recent matches

In recent women's college soccer action, both George Washington University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) secured draws in their respective matches.

George Washington University earned a 2-2 draw against Towson. After Towson took an early lead, Ella Provost-Heron scored her first career goal to equalize. Towson regained the lead in the second half, but Julia Bilal scored an 88th-minute equalizer following a loose ball in the box. The Revolutionaries move to a 1-1-2 record on the season.

UMBC extended their unbeaten streak with a 2-2 draw against West Chester in front of a record crowd of 2,800 fans. Regan Rubin opened the scoring for UMBC with a 25-yard free kick. West Chester responded with two goals to take a 2-1 lead, but Zoe Brossman leveled the score with a penalty kick. UMBC finished the match with an 18-10 advantage in shots.
