Women’s college soccer Week 5 awards announced

The Week 5 awards for women’s college soccer highlight several standout performers and teams. Duke earned Team of the Week honors after securing a victory against No. 1 ranked Stanford, led by Katie Shea Collins.

Individual honors include Sophie Reale of Boston College as Offensive Player of the Week, following her scoring streak and three assists against Boston University. Renee Watson of Michigan State was named Defensive Player of the Week for her contributions to consecutive clean sheets.

Goalkeeper of the Week honors went to Ola Goebel of Dartmouth, who maintained a 90.9% save rate and extended her shutout streak to three games. Lila Emmetsberger of Utah State was recognized as Freshman of the Week after helping her team secure upsets against BYU and South Dakota State.
